Basketball Game Preview: DeWitt Panthers vs. Lowell Red Arrows

The DeWitt Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Lowell Red Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DeWitt will be strutting in after a win while Lowell will be coming in after a loss.

DeWitt took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They snuck past Mason with a 52-48 victory.

Meanwhile, Lowell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Jenison, falling 84-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Arrows have suffered against the Wildcats since January 9, 2018.

Lowell now has a losing record at 2-3. As for DeWitt, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

DeWitt barely slipped by Lowell when the teams last played back in February of 2019, winning 29-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for DeWitt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
