Lockport is a perfect 6-0 against Romeoville since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Porters will face off against the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lockport is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Normal Community, who was ranked 24th at the time (Lockport was ranked eighth). The Porters fell 2-0 to the Ironmen on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Romeoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Joliet West. Spartans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Lockport's loss dropped their record down to 28-7. As for Romeoville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-27.

Lockport beat Romeoville 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Porters since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
