Volleyball Recap: Davinci's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

DaVinci had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lutheran Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Mustangs, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: DaVinci took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-11.

DaVinci's win bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DaVinci will venture away from home to face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lutheran, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
