Maple Grove came tearing into Tuesday's match with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Champlin Park Rebels. The game was the first time the Crimson have beaten the Rebels on their court since October 8, 2020.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 29-27, 23-25, 25-17.

Leading Maple Grove to victory were Mckinley Hardle and Amanda Swiers. Hardle had 15 digs and two aces, while Swiers had 21 assists and nine digs. Swiers has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tess Schuler, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Maple Grove's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Champlin Park, they dropped their record down to 11-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Maple Grove and Champlin Park should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Crimson will square off against Hopkins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 295). Meanwhile, Champlin Park (ranked ninth) will meet Anoka (ranked 139th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
