Walnut had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hatley Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-16.

Kaylee Estes paced Walnut's offense, picking up 12 kills. Estes got some help from Vivian Brown and her 32 assists. Estes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Walnut's victory bumped their record up to 30-3-1. As for Hatley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.

Looking ahead, Walnut will welcome Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hatley, they will face off against Baldwyn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
