Soccer Recap: Manteno's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Manteno came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Peoria Christian Chargers, falling 7-0. The loss put an end to Manteno's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Manteno fell to 2-1. As for Peoria Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Manteno didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Metamora on the 30th. As for Peoria Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Williamsville on the 30th.
