Volleyball Recap: Bonneville Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Idaho Falls

Bonneville faced Idaho Falls in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bees fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Bees have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Shayla Belnap paced Bonneville's offense, picking up 17 kills. Belnap got some help from Cambria Western and her 26 assists. Vespa Trane controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bonneville's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Idaho Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
