Football Recap: Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles vs. San Tan Foothills Sabercats
Bourgade Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the San Tan Foothills Sabercats, falling 42-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 45-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Holden Mikeworth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for San Tan Foothills, rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Mikeworth has posted since back in August. Dalton Norman also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
