Recap: Langdon/Edmore/Munich vs. Thompson Tommies

Langdon/Edmore/Munich lost against the Thompson Tommies back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Langdon/Edmore/Munich took a 64-46 bruising from Thompson. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Langdon/Edmore/Munich has scored all season.

Thompson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Krogstad, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Krogstad has scored all season. Karter Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.

Langdon/Edmore/Munich's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Thompson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Langdon/Edmore/Munich will face off against North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Thompson, they will head out on the road to take on Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Four Winds/Minnewaukan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Thompson in North Dakota (Four Winds/Minnewaukan is ranked sixth, while Thompson is ranked 46th).
