Brush is 3-0 against Lutheran East since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Brush Arcs will be playing at home against the Lutheran East Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Brush has 16 straight victories, Lutheran East has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Brush is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: St. Vincent-St. Mary, who was ranked eighth at the time (Brush was ranked 13th). Brush came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Vincent-St. Mary on Monday, sneaking past 63-61.

Meanwhile, Lutheran East ended up a good deal behind St. Joseph Academy on Saturday and lost 55-41.

Brush's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Lutheran East, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Everything came up roses for Brush against Lutheran East in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-40 victory. Will Brush repeat their success, or does Lutheran East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
