Softball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Germantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-7 to the Millbrook Blazers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Millbrook, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Germantown will welcome Coxsackie-Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Millbrook, they will square off against Ellenville at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
