Basketball Recap: McDonogh Takes a Loss

McDonogh lost against St. Frances Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the McDonogh Eagles and the St. Frances Academy Panthers didn't end well, with the McDonogh Eagles falling 69-50.

McDonogh has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for St. Frances Academy, they pushed their record up to 23-6 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

When McDonogh and St. Frances Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. McDonogh will try to stop Loyola Blakefield's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McDonogh is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. Meanwhile, St. Frances Academy will take on Archbishop Spalding and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
