Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 8-3 to the El Reno Indians. The Red Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 10-9.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for El Reno, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Clinton and El Reno will both be playing Canute the next time they take the field. The Indians will host the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Red Tornadoes will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
