Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orange Vista). They claimed a resounding 90-31 win over the Heritage Patriots. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-20.

Orange Vista's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Henry Washington, who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Washington is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Suttle, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and four steals.

Orange Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Orange Vista pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Heritage, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange Vista won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Orange Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Canyon Springs likes a good challenge. As for Heritage, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against JW North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
