While Deerfield put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Palmyra-Eagle. The Demons came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-0. The Demons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Deerfield's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mesfin Draxler, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Deerfield has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Palmyra-Eagle, they moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Deerfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
