Basketball Recap: West Morris Mendham Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but West Morris Mendham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They managed a 57-53 victory over the Jefferson Township Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Minutemen.

Jefferson Township lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kiley Shatzel, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Barone, who made all 6 shots she took for 17 points and six assists.
