Basketball Recap: Balko Takes a Loss

Balko has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Texhoma Red Devils. The Bison were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Devils earlier this season, when they won 40-26.

Balko's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Texhoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Balko will challenge Granite at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Texhoma, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-39 win against Balko/Forgan on the 4th.
