Volleyball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast was the 3-2 winner over Columbus when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell 3-1 to the Titans on Thursday.

Southeast started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-21.

Southeast has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Columbus, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Southeast will challenge Uniontown on Tuesday. Columbus has already played their next contest (against Cherryvale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
