Softball Game Preview: Arvin Bears vs. Del Oro Suns

Arvin has gone a perfect 3-0 against Del Oro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bears will host the Suns at 4:00 p.m. Arvin will be strutting in after a win while Del Oro will be coming in after a defeat.

Arvin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bears put the hurt on the Stars with a sharp 19-5 victory on Thursday. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Golden Valley, falling 16-0. The shutout was out of character for the Suns seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Del Oro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryana Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Del Oro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Arvin, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Arvin took their victory against Del Oro in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-3 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Suns turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
