Volleyball Recap: Riverton Parke Comes Up Short

Riverton Parke entered their matchup against Seeger on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Riverton Parke was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Seeger work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, 25-21.

Riverton Parke's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Seeger, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverton Parke will be taking part in a tournament against South Vermillion at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Seeger, they will host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
