Volleyball Game Preview: Santa Fe Chiefs vs. La Serna Lancers

Santa Fe hasn't had much luck against La Serna recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Chiefs will host the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Santa Fe lost 3-0 to El Rancho on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, La Serna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Montebello.

La Serna took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 16-25, 19-25, 25-13, 15-13.

Santa Fe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for La Serna, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Santa Fe skirted past La Serna 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Chiefs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
