Volleyball Recap: Randolph Cardinals vs. Plainview Pirates
Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainview Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.
Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Plainview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Stanton the next time they take the court. Randolph will host Stanton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Plainview will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
