Basketball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 67-60 defeat to the Oberlin Tigers.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Oberlin, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will venture away from home to face off against Hathaway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oberlin, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Oberlin Tigers duke it out with the Glenmora Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oberlin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Glenmora likes a good challenge.
