Softball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon was the 7-5 winner over Sibley-Ocheyedan when they last played one another back in July of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Orabs fell just short of the Generals by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Orabs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, their victory ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

Sheldon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 defeat against Okoboji on the 13th. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against MOC-Floyd Valley on the 13th.
