Recap: Andrews Wildcats vs. Summit Charter Bears
In what's become a running theme this season, the Andrews Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 81-8 victory over Summit Charter at home. While fans of Andrews might be used to big wins, the 73-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Leading Andrews to victory were Logan Shuler and Cameron Rattler. Shuler scored 19 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Rattler scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shuler has scored all season. Eli Aguilar was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and four steals.
Andrews' win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Summit Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrews won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Braves at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. Cherokee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 335 points over their last five games. As for Summit Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
