Soccer Game Preview: Miller vs. Moody

The Miller Buccaneers will venture away from home to square off against the Moody Bearcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Miller's offense. They lost 10-0 to Gregory-Portland on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Miller have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, while Moody scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. They and King finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw last Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Moody as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Moody's draw gives them a new season record of 0-5-2. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Miller beat Moody 3-1 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
