Softball Preview: Horizon Hawks vs. Evans Trojans

On Saturday, Horizon was able to grind out a solid victory over Cherry Hill West, taking the game 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Mackenzie Duncan was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Fightin' Tigers on their field since February 28, 2018.
Evans' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Horizon, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
