Basketball Recap: Star-Spencer Triumphs

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Star-Spencer Bobcats beat the Putnam City Pirates 60-54 on Thursday.

Star-Spencer's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Putnam City, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Star-Spencer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-42 victory against Enid on the 9th. As for Putnam City, they have also already played their next game, a 63-38 loss against Stillwater on the 9th.
