For the first time in his career, Anthony Barquinero tossed a passing touchdown on Friday. He threw for 299 yards and two TDs, but sadly Oceanside still had to take a 45-29 loss at the hands of Granite Hills. Barquinero's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Looking ahead, Barquinero and Oceanside will venture away from home to face off against Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 170 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
