Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Skyline played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the West Point Dragons and fell 76-34. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Dragons are ranked 39th).

Noah Reyes and Isaiah Bowens certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Reyes shot 83% from the field to rack up 15 points, while Bowens posted nine points. Bowens also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Skyline dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Point, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Skyline will venture away from home to square off against Casteel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Point, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Brophy College Prep at 2:00 p.m. on the 30th.
