Basketball Recap: Long Island City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Flushing last Monday, Long Island City came back down to earth. The Long Island City Bulldogs came up short against Queens Complex on Monday, falling 43-21. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Long Island City's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Queens Complex, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long Island City will take on Newtown in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Queens Complex and Forest Hills will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
