 The Northfield Nighthawks stacked  a  12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their  game at home  with ease, bagging a  72-25 victory over Ponderosa. With Northfield ahead  37-10 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
 Leading Northfield to victory were  Nashara Ellerbee and  Madison Bethel.  Ellerbee  scored 13 points along with seven  rebounds and six  blocks, while  Bethel  scored 16 points along with eight  steals.  Alena Vondracek was another key contributor,  scoring ten points.
 Ponderosa  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. They are 1-6 when  they just don't pass the ball.
 Northfield's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-3. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 80.5 points per game. As for Ponderosa, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-18.
