Hickory Ridge hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They never let the Cox Mill Chargers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Hickory Ridge's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Cox Mill are ranked 50th).

Hickory Ridge's one-goal win came courtesy of Leah Edwards, who's now up to two this season.

Hickory Ridge's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-0-1. As for Cox Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2.
