Baseball Recap: Brillion Lions vs. Two Rivers Purple Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chilton, Brillion was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Two Rivers Purple Raiders 5-3. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Purple Raiders: they've now won three in a row.
Joe Shimek made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Shimek was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
