After losing to Smoky Mountain the last time they met, Erwin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Erwin.

They hit Smoky Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Binuelo, Brayan Martinez-Cruz, and Dorian Rodriguez.

Erwin's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Smoky Mountain, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erwin will welcome Swain County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Erwin are facing Swain County at the right time seeing as Swain County are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Smoky Mountain, they will be playing at home against Highlands at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
