Kirtland's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Crestwood Red Devils 3-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Hornets' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Kirtland walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-19.

Ellie Spencer paced Kirtland's offense, picking up 13 kills. Spencer got some help from Andriana Grman and her 16 assists. Grman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Kirtland pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Crestwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Kirtland will challenge Lakeside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestwood, they will face off against Field at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
