Baseball Game Preview: St. Anne Cardinals vs. Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers

For the second straight game, St. Anne will face off against Gardner-South Wilmington. The Cardinals will face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

St. Anne will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Gardner-South Wilmington, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Cassen Berryhill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
