Basketball Recap: Cape Fear Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Cape Fear was feeling good fresh off their 75-52 takedown of Pine Forest on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts were beaten by the West Forsyth Titans 73-39 on Saturday. The matchup marked the Colts' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cape Fear's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Edwards, who posted four points. Jakeal Williams was another key player, putting up ten points.

Cape Fear now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Forsyth, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Cape Fear will welcome Douglas Byrd at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
