Volleyball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Suns vs. Calhoun Warriors
It was a good run, but Augusta Southeastern unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Calhoun Warriors. The Suns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Calhoun can attribute much of their success to Josie Hoagland, who had 16 digs.
Augusta Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for Calhoun, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-2.
Augusta Southeastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lincolnwood on the 19th. Calhoun has also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against North Mac on the 18th.
