Basketball Game Preview: Carolina Friends Quakers vs. Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls

Having just played yesterday, the Carolina Friends Quakers will head out on the road to face off against the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carolina Friends' offense hasn't had much luck over their past four contests, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Carolina Friends had to suffer through a 43-7 loss at the hands of Woods Charter.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey Research Triangle played a tough matchup back in December of 2024 in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by The Burlington School and fell 61-15. The Bulls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.

Natayia Hurst was Cristo Rey Research Triangle's leading scorer, having posted six points. Hurst also led the team in rebounds with five.

Carolina Friends' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
