Foresthill extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Vincent Navarro. The Wildfires strolled past the Valley Vikings with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 24-6 with plenty of help from Navarro, who rushed for 158 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. Navarro is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 147 every time he's taken the field this season.

Foresthill's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Caleb Anderson: he picked up a sack, forced two fumbles, and made 14 total tackles.

Foresthill's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Foresthill will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Valley, they will square off against Vacaville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
