Oak Ridge's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Stratford Spartans 35-32. For the War Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 66-28 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Stratford lost, don't look at Gavin Guzman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 87 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 167 yards and two TDs.
