Baseball Recap: Burlington-Edison Comes Up Short

Burlington-Edison fell victim to Sehome and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 1-0. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mariners since on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Burlington-Edison and nudges their season record down to 18-5. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Sehome, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Burlington-Edison nor Sehome have any future games scheduled.
