Softball Recap: Shadle Park Comes Up Short

Shadle Park lost against Ferris back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxons. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laniya Mawdsley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madi Keon, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Shadle Park's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Ferris, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-11.

As of now, neither Shadle Park nor the Saxons have any future games scheduled.
