Basketball Recap: Maegan Jenkins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Union Grove over Timber Creek

The Union Grove Wolverines came up short against the Timber Creek Wolves on Saturday and fell 48-35.

Union Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Maegan Jenkins, who posted nine points. Laila Paul was another key player, putting up seven points.

Union Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Timber Creek, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Union Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-44 defeat against Woodland on the 2nd. As for Timber Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-29 win against Cypress Creek on the 2nd.
