Recap: Oxon Hill Clippers vs. Potomac Wolverines
In what's become a running theme this season, the Oxon Hill Clippers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Potomac at home to the tune of 75-5. The win was familiar territory for Oxon Hill who now have six in a row.
It was another big night for Damia Worthy, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and six assists. Worthy is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Williams, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Oxon Hill pushed their record up to 17-4 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.9 points. As for Potomac, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Oxon Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-9 win vs. Fairmont Heights on the 8th. Potomac has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Largo on the 8th.
