Softball Game Preview: Enterprise Yellowjackets vs. Noxapater Tigers

For the second straight game, Enterprise will face off against Noxapater. The Yellowjackets will challenge the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Enterprise is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Noxapater a 16-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Terra Vining made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Rainee Falvey was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Caitlin Case was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Enterprise was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Noxapater only posted a batting average of .000.

Noxapater's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Enterprise, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
