Basketball Recap: BASIS - Scottsdale Takes a Loss

BASIS - Scottsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Ridgeline Academy Eagles 84-23. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Eagles are ranked 107th).

BASIS - Scottsdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ridgeline Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

When BASIS - Scottsdale and Ridgeline Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. BASIS - Scottsdale will try to stop BASIS - Peoria's four-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeline Academy will face off against Southwest Leadership Academy and their six-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
