Game recap: Hartshorne High School Football Team bests Commerce

COMMERCE, Okla. - Hartshorne (Okla.) snapped the 11-game winning streak of Commerce (Okla.), with a 17-7 victory on Saturday.

The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at seven. The Miners took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown pass by Dylan Pingleton to Trey Medicine Bear in the third quarter.

Commerce's only touchdown came on a 3-yard run in the first quarter.

Hartshorne went into the matchup giving up only 15.5 points per game. The seven points that the Tigers ended with were well below their average of 43.5 coming into the game.

With the win HHS extended its winning streak to three games.
