Basketball Game Preview: David Anderson Blue Devils vs. Valley Christian Eagles

David Anderson and Valley Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The David Anderson Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Valley Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

David Anderson is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Columbiana just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 57-43 bruising from the Clippers. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 581st, while the Clippers are ranked 241st).

Meanwhile, Valley Christian waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 74-50 win. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Valley Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for David Anderson, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

David Anderson strolled past Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 51-37. Does David Anderson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valley Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
